linda smockThis is how I became an author in 2014.  I started out with a thought of writing about family animals and continued from there.  I am a retired elementary teacher of 40 years. I grew up in Newark, New Jersey, married, moved to Pt. Pleasant, New Jersey, had three sons and taught in private schools for about 8 years.  I then moved from New Jersey in 1983 with my 3 boys to Mesa, Arizona where I became a teacher for 25 more years, then retired in 2007.

I now tutor children with dyslexia and write my children’s books.  I have nine to date.  They consist of Ringo the Chihuahua, Norbert the Rat Terrier, Cookie and Cupcake. two gal Chihuahuas, Cocoa Bean the Yorkshire Terrier. and Tahoe my son’s Husky.  They are all about family or friend’s dogs.  They talk to each other and have great fun-loving adventures together.  I am self-published and love every minute of it!   You will find more information about myself and my books on my colorful website that children would love to see.  Just click on the link below the picture and enjoy looking at all my books and information that I have provided for your enjoyment.  Any time you have a question or two please send it on my website and I will receive it. Thank you
